I SURVIVED THE STROKE STORE

Free Audiobooks by State of Residence

Before we get to the standard books. This is a great resource for those of you out there who have a disability that prevents you from reading traditional books.
To borrow free audiobooks from your state, start by obtaining a library card from your local public library, which often provides access to digital platforms like Libby, OverDrive, or Hoopla for audiobook lending. You can download the platform's app, log in with your library credentials, and borrow audiobooks to listen offline. If you have a disability that makes reading standard print difficult, you may qualify for the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (NLS), which offers free audiobooks through your state’s network library. For state-specific programs, contact your state library or explore statewide digital library platforms that may require separate registration. The links that are provided for the states will take you to that state's information on audiobooks. The list is provided by the National Library Service.

Here is an offering of standard books unless otherwise noted.
