Blade is NOT as sharp as standard knives in order to prevent accidental cuts when used by disabled persons. When using rocking motion, instead of slicing, a sharp edge is not as necessary. Can be sharpened like any other kitchen knife to suite users preference.
The Wright Stuff T-Grip Rocker Knife is designed with an innovative new handle that enables people with even the weakest grips to eat independently. This adapted knife requires less strength and dexterity than regular knives for cutting food. Use a back-and-forth rocking motion, not slicing.
Handle measures 3-3/4 inches wide, 1-1/4 inch diameter in the middle, and the blade is 4.5 inches wide.
